Romanian Chamber of Deputies: Parents Have Right to Say NO to Sex Ed

By CitizenGO · 01/11/2017

Since the 1990's certain non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have infiltrated into some Romanian schools, with the express purpose of sexualising Romanian school-children.Often done in secret, under the guise of an "extracurricular project" (which are, supposedly, not part of the "official" school curriculum), some Romanian school-children have received Sex Education from strangers - often condom-pushers.These things were done with the complicity - or, even, at the invitation - of the Principal of a particular school, keeping parents in the dark about such "extracurricular projects".But, now, because of a new push by some NGOs to include references to the Homosexual lifestyle, as well as to gender ideology, in so-called "Comprehensive Sexuality Education", more and more Romanian parents are finding out about such projects.Unfortunately, even now, if children are going to be exposed to such sexual propaganda in so-called "extracurricular projects", parents can do nothing about it.However, in December, Deputy Ninel Peia's "Childhood Innocence" Bill passed the Romanian Senate. This Bill prohibits the dissemination of information of a sexual nature to children in pre-school, primary school, and secondary school - without the parents' approval. And, it attaches possible jail-time or fines for violations of this measure. The attached petition, therefore, does two things:
  • First, it calls on the Chamber of Deputies and President to pass and sign the Childhood Innocence Bill, as soon as possible.
  • and, Second, it calls on the Chamber of Deputies and the President of Romania to seek other ways to prevent Sexual Education from being taught in Romanian schools, especially in "extracurricular projects".

Sex Education, as is commonly done in the West, and, now, as promoted by some NGOs in Romania, usually includes refer to a variety of sexual acts (which can be both natural and unnatural), sexual relationships (which can be both natural and unnatural), as well as methods of contraception, and, sometimes, even abortion. And, nowadays, indoctrination into the LGBT lifestyle, as well as into the myriad of different sexual idenities (i.e., where a person believes that his or her gender is a state of mind rather than a physical reality), also forms part of Sex Education. This kind of propaganda has no place in schools, full-stop.And, the state's respect for parents, as the primary educators of their children, demands that parents and guardians always have the final say in serious matters, like Sex Education. So, while it should be the goal of the Chamber of Deputies and the President to stamp out these outrageous kinds of sexualising indoctrination programmes - whether as part of the official curriculum, or as part of an "extracurricular project" - it is always the parents' right to say NO to something which, they believe, presents a real and present danger to their children.Thank you for signing this important petition!FOR MORE INFORMATION:http://www.activenews.ro/stiri-educa...intilor-139051http://www.digi24.ro/stiri/actualita...terzisa-630975http://stiripentruviata.ro/legea-pen...acit-de-senat/
